The Duchy of Lancaster Announces New Partnership with Bespoke Inns for Tutbury Castle

The Duchy of Lancaster is delighted to announce a new partnership with Derbyshire-based hospitality group Bespoke Inns, who will take on a lease for Tutbury Castle in the new year with plans to reopen the historic site to the public by summer.

Bespoke Inns, a well-established and award-winning local business, intend to bring fresh life to the landmark with the opening of a new restaurant and events space within the castle grounds. Their vision aims to create an inviting destination for both local residents and visitors while respecting the unique character and heritage of the site.

Tutbury Castle is an integral part of village life and a place long cherished by the local community. In recent years, the Duchy has invested significantly in the conservation and protection of the scheduled monument, safeguarding its historic fabric and ensuring its long-term future. The arrival of Bespoke Inns marks the next chapter in the Castle’s story, supporting a sustainable and vibrant future for this much-loved landmark.
