Over the last year, the Duchy has undertaken a number of major restoration and refurbishment projects across the estates. These projects range from the conversion of redundant agricultural buildings into commercial office space, to assisting tenants on diversification projects such as Bed and Breakfast accommodation or rural shops.
Three such projects have been highlighted in the Duchy in Focus section as follows;
Crewe Hall Farm. This is the the redevelopment of redundant farm builidngs on Crewe Hall Farm into 6 high specification offices.
Root Hill Estate Yard. This is the redevelopment, on a smaller scale, of redundant farm builidngs on the Lancashire Survey into 6 self-contained office units.
Blue Mountain Barn. This is the conversion of a redundant ‘field barn’ into a magnificant holiday cottage in the heart of North Yorkshire.
