Over the last year, the Duchy has undertaken a number of major restoration and refurbishment projects across the estates. These projects range from the creation of workshop facilities for a college, to the planting of 3.16ha of woodland.

Three such projects have been highlighted in the Duchy in Focus section as follows;

Diamond Jubilee Woods, Needwood. The planting of over 5,000 trees and the creation and restoration of 1150 metres of hedgerow to commemorate Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee

New Farm College. The creation of extended classrooms and workshop facilities for The Vocational Skills Academy in Higham Ferrers.

Wellington House. This is a 1930′s building centrally located in London which is currently being refurbished into Grade A office space.
